I first came to the Eastern Shore in 1973 after graduation at Overlea
High School in Baltimore. After meeting my husband in 1982, we settled
down in the White Marsh area of Baltimore County and had our daughter,
Melissa, in 1984. But I still had sand in my shoes and we both decided
to relocate our family back to the beach in 1989 and settled in this little
community called Ocean View, DE. We had decided that the calmer more laid
back lifestyle was the way that we wanted to live and expose our daughter
to. Melissa is now in her third year of college at the University of Delaware,
and my husband just celebrated his 10th year in his job at Victoria’s
at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel in Rehoboth Beach. We still enjoy the lifestyle
of this area and I look forward to helping you discover my little secret
of a different style of living.
